Day 10: Insanity (Cardio Recovery)

LOVE these days. Basically, Shaun takes you through a series of yoga positions to stretch your body/muscles b/c you’re working your body SO HARD during the week. He also does little pulses of squats and lunges to make sure you’re still getting a workout.

As I stated yesterday, I have officially lost 7 lbs and it’s day 10. Could be more (weighed myself last on day 8…) but I’m not going to weigh myself again for a while. I initially said at day 30 but now, I’m thinking I’d much rather wait until the whole program is over and weigh myself.

10 days doesn’t sound like a lot but to do 10 days in a ROW when most people aren’t getting off their ass twice a week? I’d say that’s nothing minor. No matter how many people clown, I am proud of myself. I have goals. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Insanity! I curse him out (both in my head and out loud) as it’s going on but I am very happy with it all. I feel so at home doing interval training! I think that I may even do another round of it once I’m done…depends on my results. I thought that I would have to get a personal trainer to get this type of training. I know I sound like a sales person right now but it REALLY is a solid program. HA!

Anyway, tomorrow is day 11. Go me!! Sunday is my OFFICIAL day off from Insanity but I think I’m going to go swimming and for a run just to keep me in the mode! Good luck to you guys!

    Good JOB!!! I can’t wait to say I finished day 10! I just did my recovery today for day 4. I thought it was going to be easy…I mean I wasnt on the verge of tears today but my whole body was shaking during all the yoga. I was like DAMN! Im sweating my ass off doing stretches?? But I LOVE IT! I cant wait until the end of the week to see if I lost anything. I wouldnt be mad if I didn’t because I love it. Im in so much pain during the day but it reminds me of how hard I worked to get those pains and it’s a great feeling.

    Keep it up! U are the push I need to keep it going for the full 60 days. Thank you soooo much Jia!!

    Wow…..that is a MAJOR accomplishment 10 days staright. I really wanna give this program a try just to see if I could do it. Maybe in Jan. Please keep it up and keep us posted!
