Day 4: Insanity (Cardio Recovery)

Today was a 33 minute workout. And basically what Shaun T. does is take you through a series of stretches but he does a lot of “pulse” work too. You still sweat but it’s just not as…not NEARLY as intense as the other days. Still a good workout. I’m amazed at one of my friends who is also doing the work out. He’s only been on it for 5 days and already notices a change. It’s definitely that intense, I’ll tell you that.

I had to laugh at one part during the video when Shaun T. had us switch sides for the lunges and instead of him doing his normal switch, this mufucka ‘twirled.’ LMAO! I guess that was his way of secretly snapping all the lusting vaginas out there back into reality and reminding them that he is GAY GAY GAY! Peep THIS clip of him and his new Fit Kids workout. Don’t say he’s just acting flimsy b/c it’s children; he’s doing it b/c that’s his element. He’s so gay! *throws glitter*

Day 5 is tomorrow and I’m doing that fairly early in the morning. Tomorrow evening I’m going running with my mom. Lemme know if you’re working out and how it’s going! Back to my darling twit-fam I go!

    Ms. Jia: What is this name of the work out video you are on and how much did the video cost if you dont mind me asking. The reason why I am asking is because I just had surgery and my doctor told me I need to loose about 50 pounds for health reasons IMMEDIATLEY! I am one that isn’t use to working out… but his videos look like they maybe atleast a little bit of fun and something that could keep my interest.

    @Ona: It’s called Insanity and you can get them at beachbody.com. However, if you’re one that is not use to doing SOME form of exercise at least a couple times a week, I don’t recommend it for you. You will injure yourself.

    Although I am trying to lose some weight, I did have somewhat of an active lifestyle before attempting Insanity. There are people who have been working out for years and even athletes who say that the workout is one of the toughest they’ve seen.

    That being said, if you’re looking for a way to trim down, I’d recommend Slim in 6 (also on beachbody.com) by Debbie Siebers or the Turbo Jam series by Chalene (again, on beachbody.com).

    You can definitely lose with their products. I know I sound like an infomercial but I’ve seen it done (by others) in the past. It’s just a matter of sticking to it (which is usually my problem) but I have a lot of big shit popping off by the end of this year and starting hardcore in next. I want to look my best, so that is my motivation!
