Considering Tumblr

Are you on there?

What do you like about it? Dislike?

I like the idea of blogging but I love the ‘short formatting’ that Tumblr offers. It’s cute.

Lemme know.

I’m on Tumblr & I love it. It’s so cute and simple. It’s like “Blog in a box.” Plus as mentioned above, reblogging is the new RETweeting. When I go back on my Tumblr blog & see all the stuff I’ve reblogged, I’m quite entertained. ( and

I actually really love tumblr…it’s such a visual site. The only thing that I’ve noticed is that sometimes you can get wrapped up in re-blogging other people’s posts that you sometimes don’t add a lot of your own original material. Other than that you should definitely try it.

I am on there but I am having a hard time getting into it. LOL I think if anything I like Re-Blogging more than doing my own post. I post a lot of shoes I find online because to me Tumblr is fun to looke at.

I used Blogspot for almost 2 years and only stayed because I thought Tumblr was too complicated. I started a Tumblr about 2 weeks ago and I absolutely love it. The re-blog feature and how customizable it is are my two favorite features. I have yet to see any 2 Tumblr accounts that are the same.

I like it better than wordpress, blogger, twitter, and facebook. I spend more time on it than any other site I frequent. It lets you get to know people better because it takes the focus off of profile pictures, about me sections, and who they’re following. Your content is the main focus and that’s the best part. The only thing I don’t like is that there are a TON of teenagers on there…they don’t post typical teen stuff either. They’re very mature for their age and that is a concern for me. I don’t want to be unknowingly following a bunch of kids…makes me feel some kind of way that aint good LOL

I pretty much agree with everyone else that has commented, but the reply system on tumblr is kinda “meh”. Most of the time you can’t post a reply to a post unless you reblog it and then add it onto that post.
Other than that, it’s addictive. lol
