As usual, I was over at my favorite guilty pleasure blog, Sandra Rose to catch up on some of the latest celebrity news. I read this post about entertainment blogger, Necole Bitchie. The post basically talks about Trey Songz & Necole allegedly ‘gettin’ it on.’ I can’t watch the video that was posted on Sandra’s site but I read her commentary and, subsequently, the commentary of her viewers.
thoughts recession
I am the most unfunny person I know. It’s the way I SAY things that gets people laughing but the words aren’t funny at all.
We’re clearly in a ‘thoughts recession’ when I wake up and visit a blog, only to see that the blog jacked my whole damn Twitter message verbatim. It’s truly a sad day in America when jiggas are jackin’ for verbs.

I have so many things to do tomorrow. Need to schedule appointments, clean out my closet (I’ve been avoiding that shit like the plague) but I also need to research, register, and hopefully get my questions answered.

Once again, Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful ladies of the world who take on THE hardest job in the world! I dunno about you guys but I appreciate the hell out of my mama!
I kept asking her where did she want to go or what did she want to do for her birthday. She already had her nails/toes done (plus that’s just so cliche anyway), didn’t want anyone touching her hair, already got like two pairs of new shoes (had to be b/c I had never seen them before) and what looks like two new dresses. So we decided to go to PF Changs. She had never been there before and was a little leery of going. “I can get my own Chinese food up the road!” I laughed b/c everybody always says that UNTIL they eat at PF Changs. I swear, their food is nothing short of amazing. They also had an awesome special going on where you could get two soups, an appetizer, two (full) entrees, and two desserts for $39.95! You can’t beat that with a bat if you tried.
We started our meals off with soup…I’m not a soup person but b/c it was included, I had egg drop (didn’t eat more than two bites of it) and she opted for hot & sour. We actually ended up getting two appetizers b/c I wanted lettuce wraps, while she wanted crab wontons.
But the dessert? MAN, initially I thought that they were trying to shit on us b/c the joints are small (and yes, what’s pictured is EXACTLY one of the desserts you can choose from). However, for those of us who LIKE sweets but don’t indulge often, it’s the perfect size.
Nonetheless, I had an awesome time with her. My mom has done some of the most amazing things for and in support of me. Her love for me has always been 100% unconditional. She’s a beautiful person inside and out who accepts ALL of me (flaws & all |c. Beyonce|) and no one can ever take her place. I lucked out on this one…..
